Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Approuague and Oyapock River basins in French Guiana.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Frequently occurs in fast flowing waters of principal rivers or creeks where the substrate is rock or sand (Ref. 27188).
