Max. size:  6 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 50 - 500 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from the east African coast.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 15-17
Biology:  Known specimens are less than 5.5 cm SL (Ref. 4054).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 July 2019 Ref. (130435)
