Max. size:  46 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Sumatra, Malay Peninsula and probably Mekong and Chao Phraya basins (Ref. 26580). Reported from the Mekong basin in Laos (Ref. 4792) and in Thailand (9648).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in medium to large-sized rivers (Ref. 12975).
