Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  1.79 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 10 - 20 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  collected from a gentle slope (approx. 20%), with mixed patches of live coral and sand-rubble (about 10-20 m) and was encountered solitarily or in loose pairs. Individuals had fully erect the first dorsal fin, which is then gently undulated when the fish is approached at close range by a diver (Ref. 115084).
