Distribution:  Asia: Eastern Nepal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits hill streams and rivers (Ref. 6351). Prefers high-gradient streams. Adheres to rocks in rapid waters with the use of its unbranched rays in the pectoral fins and the transverse folds of skin along the belly (Ref. 4832).
