| Diagnosis: | Dorsal and anal fins without scales. Diameter of eye much larger than the snout length (Ref. 35388). | |||
| Biology: | Lives down to a depth of 400 m (Ref. 35388). Seasonal migrant (Ref. 6697). Maximum depth reported taken from Ref. 94863. | |||
