Family:  Danionidae (Danios), subfamily: Rasborinae
Max. size:  4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin and Malaysia.
Diagnosis:  No color on fins; lateral line complete (Ref. 12693).
Biology:  Inhabit pools in clear, swift, forest streams (Ref. 12693). Spawning sites are found in rivers and ponds (Ref. 33813). Mature adults probably breed during the rainy season. Not seen in markets, rarely in the aquarium trade (Ref. 12693).
