Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-13; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 12-12. Bright yellow on ventral part of body including pelvic and anal fins. | |||
Biology: | Shoals congregate in rivers and many enter estuaries. Feeds on worms, crustaceans and particularly mollusks. Sold fresh. | |||
