| Diagnosis: | Flank marbled without midlateral rows of dark blotches. Dark blotches on dorsum often fused. Branches of suborbital spine similar in length. | |||
| Biology: | Found on gravel substrate along steep banks of rivulets and streams 3-10 m wide and less than 1 m deep in foothills and plains, sometimes in channels (Ref. 59043). | |||
