Max. size:  22 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 100 m
Distribution:  North Pacific: south to British Columbia. North Atlantic: Arctic to western Greenland and Maine, USA (Ref. 7251).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in subtidal rocky to sandy areas (Ref. 2850). Benthic; feeds on crustaceans and worms (Ref. 58426).
