Distribution:  Asia: Malay Peninsula to Borneo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Usually inhabits clear mountain streams strewn with rocks and boulders; frequently found below waterfalls (Ref. 2091). Feeds on worms, crustaceans, insects and plant matter (Ref. 7020).
