Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 20 - 1140 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Mediterranean, Azores, North Spain to Angola, St. Helena and Ascension Is.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs on mud or sand bottoms of the continental slope and shelf (Ref. 2683).
