Family:  Apogonidae (Cardinalfishes), subfamily: Apogoninae
Max. size:  5.76 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 2 - 15 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Capricorn Group on the southern Great Barrier Reef and Chesterfield Group in the Coral Sea, and Sydney, New South Wales of Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Benthic species which inhabits coral reef (Ref. 75154).
