Country info:  Known from the ParanĂ¡ River basin (Ref. 36801). Found in Piracicaba river (Ref. 50076). Museum: Marimbondo, Rio Grande, Sao Paulo, MZUSP 14453 (holotype of L. paranensis, 15.4 cm SL) (Ref. 27925).
