Max. size:  5.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 5 - 140 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Gulf of California to Colombia, including the Galapagos and other offshore islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits sandy bottoms (Ref. 11482). Feeds on small fishes and invertebrates (Ref. 11482). Minimum depth reported from Ref. 11482.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 25 May 2007 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Ranges from the Gulf of California southward (Ref. 37955). Recorded from Bahía Agua Verde, Baja California Sur (Ref. 37955). Also Ref. 11482.
