Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: India and Pakistan. Widespread in the Indus drainage.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in clear mountain streams (Ref. 41236). Benthic bottom feeder preferring lentic habitats (Ref. 33323).

Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from North West Frontier Province, Sind, Baluchistan (Ref. 41236), Punjab (Ref. 52665) and Azad Kashmir (Ref. 51161). Rare in North West Frontier Province (Ref. 57738). Also Ref. 41236.
