Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan, Philippines, Indonesia and New Guinea.

Biology:  Inhabits brackish waters (Ref. 43239).

Country info:  Specimens were collected from Kiga creek, Ambacan River at Baybay, and a small creek in Guadalupe, Leyte in 1993 (Ref. 7223). Museum: Big Lagoon, Miniloc I., near El Nido, spoon net, FRLM 12251. Also Ref. 7050, 43239.
