Kommentare | Reintroduced in 1978. Has caused the displacement of endemic species, due to the annual production, provoking over-population and manism (dwarfism) (Ref. 13686). The monogean Cichlidogyrus sclerosus an African helminth has been found from tilapia in southern Mexico, a hitchhiker from the introduction of the species (Ref. 48731). Also Ref. 74657.
