Morfologia | Morfometria
Spine dorsali (totale): 7; Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 16-17; Spine anali 1; Raggi anali molli: 16 - 18. Body reddish brown with patches on the cheeks and a black spot at the base of the tail. SL to 38 mm.
Occurs among mangroves (Ref. 1602). Also forms aggregations near surface of marine lakes and tidal streams (Ref. 90102).
