Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt): 3-4; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 76 - 85; Wirbelzahl: 56 - 58. Head width 11.4-13.3% SL; caudal peduncle depth 3.7-4.3% SL; anal fin rays 76-85; vertebrae 56-58 (Ref. 52514).

Biologie     Fachlexikon (Englisch) (z.B. epibenthic)

Inhabits large, slow flowing rivers and lakes (Ref. 52514) and swamps (Ref. 56749). Juveniles sometimes occur in smaller streams (Ref. 52514). Feeds on smaller fishes and crustaceans (Ref. 52514).
