Specimens were collected from Calbiga-a creek, Lagu Lagu creek, a river mouth in Baybay, Leyte in 1993 (Ref. 7223). Also known from Puerto Princesa, Palawan (Ref. 58652). Museum: Sandy beach, El Nido, juvenile specimens caught by spoon net, FRLM 12243 (Ref. 10558). Reported from Lake Taal and Lake Naujan (Ref. 13446), Lake Mainit and Kalinawan River (Ref. 81829).
