Comments: Known from the Lomami and Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245). Syntypes from the Lindi-Tshopo and Aruwimi are re-identified as Chrysichthys thonneri and C. wagenaari respectively (L. Risch, pers. comm.; see also MRAC fish collection and L. Risch PhD 1985). Also Ref. 3236.
