Type locality, small stream in Lama town, Matamohuri R. drainage, Bandarban Hill Tracts, Chittagong Division, CAS 216608 (holotype of B. chittagongis, 3.54 cm SL, male). Collected only in hillstreams near Chittagong, SE of the Ganges delta; no other material east of the Ganges, adjacent Indian states of Tripura or Mizoram, or the eastern coast of Myanmar, but absence may be due to insufficient collecting (Ref. 46238). |
