Occurs in Odra and Morava river basins (Ref. 54732). Ex situ collection: maintained in live gene bank. Since 1996, the government has supported in situ conservation of rare/endangered breeds. Artificial propagation is well established in several hatcheries which sell fry to fish farms (Ref. 32234). Also Ref. 26920, 90060. Status of threat: Least concern (Ref. 41386, 52149). |
