Type locality of Lentipes kijimuna, Okinawa Island. It was found rare in the islands of Ryukyu Arch., in the seven streams in Okinawa and one in Ishigaki islands. However, it was sometimes observed in situ apart from the 10 specimens collected; usually alone and surrounded by many L. armatus att stream rapids (Ref. 125534). |
