Previously collected from Ibaraki to Miyazaki prefectures on the Pacific coast, Akita to Nagasaki prefectures on the coasts of Sea of Japan and East China Sea, southwest coast of Kyushu, the Izu, Ogasawara, Osumi, and Ryukyu islands (except for Amami Islands), the Nishi-Shichito Ridge, the Kyushu-Palau Ridge, and the East China Sea. New records from Tobi-shima Island, northern Yamagata Prefecture, and Kagoshima Bay and the Amami Islands, Kagoshima Prefecture (Ref. 128621). Also Ref. 11230, 26833, 123579.
