Known from the Kinabatangan and Segama river basins in Sabah, northeastern Borneo (Ref. 7424). Also recorded from the Danum Valley and lower Segama. Only found in the main Segama river, never in the tributaries. Very common in the lower reaches of Segama but quite rare around Danum Valley Field Centre (Ref. 34011). Also Ref. 7050.
