Holotype collected from a fish market in Nouméa (BPBM 39143). Found mainly in the southern lagoon in clear water near the barrier reed. Encountered mainly in schools of about 10 to 100 individuals moving from 1 - 3 meters above the bottom, possibly a feeding aggregation (Ref. 55950). |
