Occurs in the Mekong, Chao Phraya (Ref. 27732), Chiengsen Kao (Ref. 33021), Maeklong, Peninsular and Southeast Thailand river systems (Ref. 26336). Collected in the Mekong basin at Nam Man about 2 km upstream of Amphoe Dan Sai in Loei Province and at Mae Nam Fang, 35 km south of Fang on road to Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Province (Ref. 39226); also from Phrae, Chanthaburi, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Surat Thani (Ref. 37773).
