Known from the Mekong basin. Upstream the Khone Falls, it migrates upstream from May to September, dominated by fish in spawning condition (Ref. 37770). Above the Khone Falls, dowstream migration takes place in October (Ref. 37770). Migrations above the Khone Falls in Thailand are triggered by the increase of the water levels (Ref. 37770).
