Occurs in Sumatra (Djambi, Palembang, Mandan R. at Siak) and Borneo (Kapuas, Baram, Lake Tundai (Ref. 42107)). Local fishermen reported that this is very common everywhere in the Kapuas Lakes Area in western Borneo (Ref. 56749).
