Well established in freshwater habitats (Ref. 5198). Recorded from Sato'alepai and Fagamalo in Savaii Island. Introduced by the South Pacific Commission through the Department of Agriculture, Forests and Fisheries (Ref. 33576). Small-scale aquaculture is established from introduced fingerlings which came from the Sigatoka Agricultural Station in Fiji (Ref. 5198). Also Ref. 1739. |
