Comments: | Introduced as a forage fish for largemouth bass in May 1963 and stocked in Guajataca reservoir. The bass had higher condition factors following the introduction. Established in Guajataca, Cidra, Carite, Garzas and La Plata reservoirs (Ref. 6443). Considerably improved the condition of the predator species, the Largemouth Bass, Micropterus salmoides (Ref. 13364). Ref: Erdman, D.S., 1984 |
