Comments: | After early successful colonization of many waters the species diminished throughout its acquired range. It is now maintained by stocking (Ref. 1739) in some areas. Naturalized in suitable waters from Lac Nfiss near Marrakech to the Arbaoua_larache region in the Rif Mountains in the north at altitudes ranging from sea level to 1700m (Ref. 13364). Ref: |
