Diagnosis: Chiloglanis pojeri has a moderately large, transverse-oval sucking disc (Ref. 78218).
Description: This species is rather slender with a moderately large, transverse-oval sucking disc; the barbels are of average length; the dorsal-fin spine is weakly serrated on its anterior face, and this also applies to the pectoral-fin spines; the low adipose fin is short and begins above the start of the anal fin; the caudal peduncle is slender; the caudal fin is clearly indented posteriorly with the cadal-fin lobes equal in length (Ref. 78218).
Colouration: The colouration consists of irregular transverse bands on the body, particularly distinct behind the dorsal fin, beneath the adipose fin, and on the caudal peduncle; a further dark band runs across the caudal fin; there are more weakly expressed transverse bands on the dorsal and anal fins (Ref. 78218). |
