This species is characterized by the following:12-30) occasionally narrow and interconnected irregular bars separated by a distinctly yellow stripe from an irregular middorsal stripe or a series of blotches; without small tubercles on branched ray 1 of the male pectoral fin; one row of spots on the caudal fin (Ref. 132199). Description: males with suborbital flap; presence of processus dentiformis; branched caudal rays 9+8; branched dorsal rays 8-9.5; complete lateral line; presence of axillary pelvic lobe (Ref. 39226). |
