Diagnosis

This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: palatine tooth patches inserted medially behind vomerine tooth patch; 16 circumpeduncular scales; upper part of body with dark longitudinal stripe extending from middle of upper lip through eye above anterior lateral line to mid-upper caudal-fin rays (Ref. 89094).

Description: Characterized by mainly white color with dark brown stripe from snout through eye, extending along upper back to upper caudal fin; anterior lateral line scales 28-29; predorsal scales 16; depth of body 29.0 % of SL (Ref. 90102).
