Lanceolate caudal fin; elongated posterior anal-fin rays not reaching beyond the middle of the caudal fin; usually 1-2 dark longitudinal stripes distinct in preserved specimens; no stripe along the base of the anal fin (Ref. 27732). In life, dorsal, caudal and anal fin with red margin and numerous small blue spots (Ref. 43281). |
