| Remarks | English Abstract: A description of Etmopterus parini sp. n. (TL 376 and 341 mm), a new species of lantarn sharks caught from the epipelagic zone of the northwestern Pacific Ocean in the spring of 2010, is presented. The species is distinguished from the congeners by the following characters: body shape, body color, morphology of teeth and dermal denticles, number of trunk and caudal vertebrae, position of fins, and size and shape of luminescent markings on the flanks. |
