Remarks | Abstract : Garra chathensis, a new species, is described from the Chathe River, Nagaland, India. The new species is distinguished from its congeners in having a bilobed proboscis, a black spot at the upper angle of the gill opening, 3½/1/3 transverse scale rows, 16 circum peduncular scales, 9-10 predorsal scales and 32-33 lateral line scales. |
