I,7; pectoral fin rays 15(2)-16(1); cephalic pore pattern lacking preopercular pores (N’, O’): B’, C, D, E, F, G, H’ (43); head dorsoventrally compressed (height 70-80% of width); and separated first and second dorsal fins (Ref. 137869).
