Marine; bathypelagic; oceanodromous (Ref. 51243); depth range 0 - 850 m (Ref. 4479). Deep-water
Eastern Atlantic: disjunct distribution between the 30°N and about 20°N, and between 13°S and 23°S. Elsewhere, in the Atlantic, in central regions of anticyclonic gyrals in both hemispheres.
