Eponymy: R N Drummond Sutton may have been the author’s teacher, as he states that this is the person “who guided my early steps in science.” (By the time of Smith’s description, he was the ‘late’ R N Drummond Sutton) Guy E Drummond Sutton greatly assisted Smith’s scientific work. Presumably he was a relative of Sutton, RND (below), with the genus being named after the elder Drummond Sutton and the species after the younger. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
