Asia: known from high altitudes in the Rivers Ko and Tan in Annam, Viet Nam. Has not been rediscovered since the collection of the types in 1936.

شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل) : 12; شعاع نرم باله مخرجي: 8. Can be distinguished from any other nemacheiline by the presence of a strong processus dentiformis on both jaws and by anterior nostril pierced in front side of a pointed tube (Ref. 40772).

This species was collected from the upland streams (Ref. 117882). The ovaries of a 6 cm SL female contain ovulae about 0.8 mm in diameter (Ref. 39226).
