Asia: known from high altitudes in the Rivers Ko and Tan in Annam, Viet Nam. Has not been rediscovered since the collection of the types in 1936.

Raios dorsais moles (total) : 12; Raios anais moles: 8. Can be distinguished from any other nemacheiline by the presence of a strong processus dentiformis on both jaws and by anterior nostril pierced in front side of a pointed tube (Ref. 40772).
This species was collected from the upland streams (Ref. 117882). The ovaries of a 6 cm SL female contain ovulae about 0.8 mm in diameter (Ref. 39226).
