Etymology: Pimelodella: Diminutive latinized of greek, pimele = fat + Greek, odous, odella = little teeth (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: Dr George F Enoch appears to have been one of Fowler’s large number of friends and acquaintances in the Philadelphia area to whom he was “…indebted for various local fishes.” He was (1938) one of three physicians at the Philadelphia county prison. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
