背棘 (總數) : 0; 背的軟條 (總數) : 13; 臀棘: 0; 臀鰭軟條: 9. Outer rostral barbels very long, reaching lower front corner of opercle; 8+8 branched caudal-fin rays; nostril flap pointed, reaching eye; body dark brown, 6-15 white or yellow bars most prominent in postdorsal body.
外部的嘴觸鬚非常長的, 達到鰓蓋的前方下部角落; 8+8個分枝的尾鰭鰭條; 鼻孔拍打尖的, 達到眼; 身體深褐色的,6-15 白色或黃色的橫帶大部分突出的在後背的身體。
Found in streams; restricted to microhabitats with moderate flowing water and never in riffles or waterfalls. Associated with S. hingi and Oreoglanis sp. (Sisoridae).
