It has a subtle, shallow, and rounded postorbital notch, with weakly developed odontode ridges on the dorsal surface of the head and predorsal area. The abdominal plates are tightly connected, fully covering the median abdominal region and the pectoral girdle. It also has a higher count of anterior lateral plates and distinctive coloration traits.
