Eastern Atlantic: one locality near the equator at 25°W. Eastern Pacific: at least 32°N to Chile (Ref. 35950), including the Hawaiian Islands (Ref. 583). Also known from Western Atlantic, from USA to Brazil (Ref. 47377).
