Marine; freshwater; brackish; demersal; amphidromous (Ref. 51243). Temperate; 45°N - 31°N
Asia: Japan and Korea. Also known from the Kuril Islands and Sakhalin (Ref. 37812). Often misidentified as Tridentiger obscurus, a species that apparently does not extend farther north than Northern Honshu (Ref. 37812).
